Affordable Wedding Venue in Chicago 2018
Julia and Mike both had two loves in common. Their first love was each other. Their second was good wine.
Wine had always been a big part of their lives, as Mike was going into the wine consulting business. It was one of their favorite pastimes, so it was no surprise that they had decided to have their wedding in one of Chicago's most iconic vineyards.

The wedding itself took place under a pavilion in the vineyard, which was obviously constructed for occasions such as these. On the back of each chair hung a small cluster of grapes and champagne-colored roses. Wine-red and white streamers fluttered in the wind, while the birds chirped and flew around the event.
Mike's groomsmen were wearing black suits with wine-red ties, matching the elegant dresses that the bridesmaids were wearing as well. The colors were wonderfully representative of their wine-themed wedding.
As the wedding proceeded, Mike and Julia said their I do's', and the ceremony came to a close. Soon, everyone watched as the new husband and wife walked slowly to the back of the pavilion, and the guests soon followed after the wedding party and family.
It wasn't long before the two were with the wedding photographer, taking pictures of the two playing in the vineyard. The golden sun dazzled sunset rays around them in the photos. Mike thought that Julia looked angelic in the soft sunlight. The two danced between rows of grapes, as the photographer shot photo after photo of the event.

Budget Ready Reception In the Vineyard
It wasn't long before the guests assembled at the setting for the outdoor party reception. The day could not have produced better weather for the occasion. The setting sun provided a little relief from the warmth, allowing them to party by soft lantern light. Around the reception, more wine-red and white streamers could be seen fluttering in the slow breezes.
The upbeat music eventually got many of the guests on moving on the dance floor. Echoes of music and laughter could be heard bouncing off the hills surrounding the quaint little vineyard.
While the dancing was taking place, the catering staff brought out the extravagant, delectable main course. It was perhaps another wonderful smell that the guests would remember wafting through the air in addition to the smell of ripening grapes.
The endless supply of wine also added a joyous feeling to the occasion, as guests could pick from glasses to small samplings, so that they could select their favorite.
Around 9:30 in the evening, it was time for everyone to head home. Mike and Julia bid their farewells and proceeded to their little car. Driving off into the night, the two couldn't help that they had certainly made memories that they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
To Julia, one of the most memorable parts about her summer Chicago wedding venue in the vineyard was the aroma of ripening grapes. Now, every time she catches that smell, she remembers back to that warm summer day.

Day before the wedding..

Mom's Wedding Dress? Perhaps Not.
The day has arrived. Your man was on his knee, and you said yes. If you're like me, the first thought on my mind was how fabulous I was going to look in my wedding dress!
But finding a dress isn't always easy - and your mom may want you to wear hers - will try to convince you that this is what you should do. I must be honest, I thought it was a good idea at first too, and for many new brides it works out fine, however, for me, things didn't go exactly how I had envisioned. It wasn't a good experience.
We girls need to stick together - and my simple advice to you is this, choose a dress that's all your own, don't settle for somebody else's.
Tip 1. Don't Give In To Pressure.
One of the most difficult things I experienced was when my mother initially asked me to wear the dress. I was actually caught off guard by the idea, because I was half-expecting to spend hours and hours dress shopping. I hadn't really thought of wearing my mother's wedding dress, but I was definitely open to suggestion. She had looked so lovely in it on her wedding day, I supposed that maybe I would too.
So, my bridal party and I decided to head over to my mother's house so they could see me try it on. To be honest, I should have said something up front but I wasn't exactly thrilled with the style. It was certainly a far cry from flattering, as it was made during a more 'modest' era. Also, I was a little worried about the color, especially since what was once 'white' was now looking more like 'eggshell'.
Nevertheless, the pressure was on. My mother seemed to be hooked on the idea of me wearing her prized wedding dress. Of course, I wanted everyone to be happy, especially my mom. So, I faked a smile and said I loved it.
Truthfully, I really should not have done that. If you are in this situation, you need to stick to your guns early on. First, it's much harder on you and everyone else to back out and buy your own dress, as wedding day gets closer. Second, this is your wedding day. Get the dress that you want.

Tip 2. Alteration Doesn't Equal New Dress
After I said 'yes' to mom's dress, I tried the 'alteration tactic'. That is, I did everything in my power to make my mom's old dress to look the way I wanted it to. This turned out to cost far more than it was worth, and at the end of the day, I was simply stuck with a dress that I didn't want in the first place, no matter how much I attempted to change it.
If you do decide to try a compromise, taking your mom's dress, but altering it to fit your style, then be prepared to pay a premium price.

Tip 3. It's never Too Late to Change Your Mind as far as Cheap Chicago Wedding
Lucky for me I didn't make it to the wedding before finally being open with my mother. Much to my surprise, she completely understood - she said that she thought that I had genuinely wanted to wear her dress, and didn't mean to pressure me into doing something I didn't want. So, a couple of weeks before the wedding - a different sort of pressure on the table - we went dress shopping, and I got something I truly loved.
Remember ladies, it's your day, so it should be your dress.
